Purposes of processing
We process personal data solely to provide this website, answer enquiries via the contact form and, where enabled, send the newsletter.
Hosting
The website is hosted on a server in the European Union. When you access the website, technically required data (IP address, date, time, requested page) is processed in the server log. This data is deleted after 30 days.
Contact form
When you contact us via the form, your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and message are transmitted to us. Confirmation and notification mails are sent via Resend Inc. (USA) under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Data is automatically deleted after 180 days.
Captcha (hCaptcha)
To protect our forms from automated abuse we use hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.). Technical data (IP address, browser data, behavioural signals) is processed. Details: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy.
Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies. No consent is required (§ 165 para. 3 Austrian TKG 2021).
Reach measurement (visitor statistics)
To improve our website, we collect statistical data about its use (reach measurement). This measurement works without cookies and without storing any data on your device. The following is recorded: the page visited, the language version, the device class (desktop/tablet/mobile), the referring website (hostname only), and a short technical value (hash) that is derived from your IP address and browser identifier and changes daily.
Your IP address is not stored. The daily-changing hash does not allow recognition across multiple days or identification of your person. Browser signals such as "Do Not Track" and "Global Privacy Control" are respected: if one of them is enabled, no data is recorded. Statistical data is deleted automatically after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and reach analysis of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object and to data portability under Articles 15 ff. GDPR at any time. Please direct requests to the email address above.
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
